Clear local budgeting for landlords

DKEstate began as a single portfolio of six flats, managed manually on spreadsheets and a wall calendar. We needed a better way to track deposits, plan utility payments, and keep every tenancy compliant. Soon the neighbours on the same streets asked us to handle their properties the way we handled our own: with the same weekly checks, the same plain-English reports, and the same habit of returning calls before the end of the day.

Today we look after homes across Windsor and Slough, but the way a budget is prepared has not changed since the first ledger. Every plan starts with the landlord's own priorities, written down and agreed in a one-page summary. Then we calculate the true cost of each let — voids, repairs, inspections, utilities, and the small print that eats margins — so the numbers you see are the numbers you can plan on.

We do not charge per invoice or add a fee for every message. One fixed management fee covers the budgeting, the budgeting reviews, the late payment flags, and the end-of-year summary. The reports are clear enough to be read after three years lost in clutter, and our records include the dates and amounts a lender expects.
